Welcome to Pangkon Bali Resto & Agrotourism, a stunning Balinese restaurant nestled in the serene countryside of Gianyar, Bali. Located at Jl. Tirta Jl. Tampaksiring No. 25M, Manukaya, this charming establishment offers diners a unique blend of traditional Balinese cuisine and breathtaking panoramic views of lush rice paddies.
As you step into Pangkon Bali, the atmosphere envelops you, echoing the vibrant spirit of Bali. Whether you are seeking a spot for an intimate dinner or a lively gathering with friends, this venue caters to all, and it's evident from the reviews that large groups are well accommodated with prompt service. The warm hospitality is further complemented by the picturesque backdrop that makes every meal feel special.
For those with adventurous palates, dishes such as the burnt duck and calamari have been highly praised for their exceptional flavors. Diners like Travis Kelly have expressed their awe at how beautifully the food pairs with the magnificent views, creating a dining experience that is simply unforgettable. However, some guests, such as Anislav Atanasov, have noted that while the food arrives swiftly, the quality of some ingredients may leave something to be desired.
Moreover, the drink menu shouldn't be overlooked; the fresh banana milkshake has garnered positive feedback, highlighting the use of real fruit in their preparations. It's these little details that add charm to your meal and signify the care that goes into their offerings.
It's important to acknowledge that, like many restaurants vying for tourist attention, prices can be on the higher side. Customers such as Anna Min and Bryan Luro have mentioned the relatively steep costs, realizing they are paying for the stunning environment as much as for the food. Yet, many still find the experience worth the investment, noting the ambience created by the surrounding rice fields and the lively atmosphere filled with fellow travelers.

This place is great for serving large groups. The service was fast, and our food arrived quickly. However, some of the dish ingredients, like the seafood, appeared to have been pre-prepared. Additionally, the restrooms were dirty, and we had to negotiate our seating arrangements several times.

We had lunch here — definitely tourist prices, a bit on the expensive side, but the atmosphere was great and the food was quite good! The banana milkshake tasted really fresh, probably made with real bananas. Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable experience, even though we knew we were paying tourist prices since it’s the kind of place that used to be popular with visitors.

Almost all of the diners are on group tours. The restaurant sits on a hill not by the roadside. I rode my rented scooter and befriended a local man who manned the parking at Gunung Kawi. He took me here otherwise I would not have known. The restaurant looks out to an expanse of rice paddies. According to my new friend the Indonesian food here is very good. This is his preferred lunch place. I also liked what I had.

Real nice place with superb environment right in rice fields. Food is good but a bit on the pricey end for Ubud country side; most customers were foreigners I guess I impacts pricing. Tourist guide must be recommending this place. Still good food, great view and environment. Worth to go.

We stopped here during our tour around Ubud. It’s a humble spot, with a warm, family-style vibe, but the experience couldn’t have been better. The service was top-notch and the food… omg, it was delicious. I’m still drooling just thinking about it.
